I have been MIA for so long I feel like a stranger in a strange land! BUT I have been putting my latest obsession (see previous journal) to work! I now have a little shop on Etsy, and am having SO much fun creating and listing - and yes please I pray selling. I list a few vintage ans supplies, but mostly I create! You will find some wonderful one of a kind Cup Cuffs (coffee collars/sleeves), hand embroidered bags, and quilts among many other things. So...I got a fantabulous new to me sewing machine for my birthday. It's a classic Singer from the 60's - back when the parts were steel and not plastic - woo hoo! And now I am madly in love with collecting fabric. I am working on SEVERAL projects (a quilt, place mats, napkins, snack baggies, a sewing machine cover, an apron, etc...) all of which are gifts. But yesterday I wanted to make my own gift so I made a little bag, and uploaded the pic. It's rough and needs to be tweeked, but oh how much fun I had sorting it all out and trying to recreate something I saw in the fabric shop! If only I could make a living with all my crafting obsessions.

The family and I went up to Territorial Park in Laramie, WY yesterday to explore. The prison tour it's self is very informative and you get to "meet" many of the inmates along the way. They also have onsite a small recreated old west town, with a church, homestead, school, livery and sidewalk with a general store, restaurant, and old time photographer. Some of these are closed during the week so to get the full effect you must head over on a weekend. I took some pictures that I really love and shared them with you here on DA.
